hostess with the mostest (ish)

I'm vain enough to believe you faithful readers are on the edges of your seats to hear all about my recent trip to Los Angeles. Well, this isn't that post, but never fear. It's coming. Tomorrow.

But today I'm excited to share something else with you.

Now can I get a drumroll? (ba dum baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa) Or better yet a club beat? (mm chhh mmm chhh mmm chhh) Yes, that works. Now for the announcement.

Tonight I am making my debut as a hostess of Chick Lit Chat.

For those of you who don't know, CLC meets virtually on Twitter every Thursday at 8 p.m. Eastern/ 7 p.m. Central. Using #chicklitchat authors and readers of women's literature connect with each other to dish on a topic. It's a great way to get the latest news on the industry a fab networking opportunity.

I'm deeply honored and excited to be asked to join the team. I look forward to leading interesting -- or at least fun -- discussions every six weeks or so.

This week, our discussion will be the beach reads of 2013. We'll talk about recent and upcoming releases that would be great to pack along for your summer vacations, wherever they might be.

Please consider this your invitation to join us, tonight. Join us at 8 Eastern on Twitter using #chicklitchat. Feel free to follow me @lmchap.

  1. Oooh, fun!!! Congrats!!
Can I convince you to add "Marriage Matters" to that beach read list? It was just picked as a contemporary Must-Read from Romantic Times, about a mother, daughter and grandmother who all get engaged at the same time and decide to share a wedding. Wanted to get permission before getting on the chat and being all - club beat, jazz hands, club beat (you really put that club beat in my head) - "Marriage Matters!!!"
