I'm writing to you from session two of Camp NaNoWriMo. During the month of July, I hope to write 25,000 words on my new novel. After that, I'll hope to finish the final 50,000 words during NaNoWriMo in November -- with a little work in between.
This session I set a lower goal, because I also need to finish some revisions and marketing details for my 2013 releases. Realistically, it's good to set my goal to something I can accomplish, which will keep me motivated. There are few things more disheartening to me than not meeting a goal.
With a holiday weekend(ish) coming up this week, I'm hoping to use that extra time to my advantage.
I'll write soon with more. Until then, take care.
